The Forsythia Society
The Forsythia Society, founded in 1998, recognizes special donors who help ensure our long-term vitality by including the Garden in their estate plans. Through a bequest in your will, or by naming BBG as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, life insurance policy, or trust, you can make a significant contribution toward the Garden's future. You will enjoy a special relationship with the Garden and, through certain plans, can even increase your annual income. The following language may be helpful to you in making a provision for BBG in your will: "I bequeath the sum of $ _______ (or ____ % of my residuary estate) to Brooklyn Botanic Garden Corporation, located at 1000 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225, for its general purposes."
For further information, or to let us know that you have made a provision for BBG in your estate plans and would like to join the Forsythia Society, please contact BBG's Vice President of Development at 718-623-7236.
