Temporary Membership Sales Associates

The Membership Department of Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG) is seeking enthusiastic and energetic people with a background in sales, promotions or marketing to assist with Membership sales at the Garden this spring and summer. Knowledge about BBG preferred but not required.

This is a temporary position that requires working Saturdays and Sundays from mid- to late March through late June from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. Additional days required are April 30, June 5, and June 18 in the afternoon and evening.

Responsibilities include promoting and administering on-site membership sales, providing on-site customer service for existing BBG members, setup and breakdown of on-site sales locations within the Garden, and coordinating with BBG staff. An ideal candidate should be comfortable actively engaging all BBG visitors to promote membership. Applicant should have flexibility (as dates can be canceled due to the weather) an outgoing personality, and a lot of energy.
