Bill Shank
Bill Shank was the cofounder (in 1984) and first president of the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons, in Bridgehampton, New York. He is currently vice-president/deputy garden editor of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. In addition, he serves both on the Garden Committee of Wave Hill and on the Board of the Metro-Hort Group, based in New York City. He codesigned and maintained a much-publicized garden on eastern Long Island from 1981 until 1995. He presently lives and gardens indoors in New York City.
