Stephanie Cohen

Stephanie Cohen , at 4 feet, 11 inches, has managed to acquire such unusual aliases as "The Doctor Root of Perennials" and "The Dwarf Tornado," and is well known for championing the art of "Vertically Challenged Gardening." She teaches Advanced Perennial Design at Temple University, Ambler Campus, and is Acting Director of the Arboretum there. She also lectures nationally on perennials, design, and almost anything pertaining to herbaceous plants. Stephanie is a contributing editor of Country Living Magazine and won the Garden Communicator of the Year 2000 Award from the American Nursery & Landscape Association.
