This exhibition features the work of the talented artists who participated as students and teachers in BBG’s Continuing Education art classes in 2011, reflecting the array of media and themes studied here. Brooklyn Botanic Garden offers a unique urban setting in which to contemplate the beauty of nature and learn about all things plant related.

Classes for adults have been offered at the Garden since it was founded in 1910, and as many as 2,000 adults study at the Garden each year, learning about horticulture, nature, and art. The program’s art instructors are professional artists who exhibit their work in New York City and beyond.

Many of the works of art on display are available for purchase. Please call 718-623-7357 for more information. The images below are just a selection of the many beautiful pieces featured in the show.
