Be Green and Crafty with BBG's Botanical Beads Series!

Margarita Poulson

When you think of natural jewelry, semiprecious stones or coral probably come to mind. But historically much of the most striking jewelry has been created from plants. In this series, Margarita Poulson shares the art of making beautiful jewelry from botanical products. Stylish and sustainable!

Seeds: Ancient Ornaments, Modern Jewels

From the beginning of time, plants have been used to decorate the human form. Seeds in particular have been transformed into beads to adorn people in every culture around the world. With their vast array of shapes, colors, and textures, seeds play an important role in our aesthetic history. You will learn basic earring assembly and create your own pair with a mix of local and tropical seeds.
