How to Register for Classes
Registration begins on August 1, 2008, at 9 a.m. Use the registration form below for all adult's and children's classes, programs, and trips. Please register early; many classes fill quickly. Registration cutoff for each class is four days before the class begins.
By mail...
Fill out the form and mail it with your check, money order, or credit card information to Registration Office, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, 1000 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225-1099.
By fax...
Fill out the registration form and fax it to 718-623-7339. Be sure to include your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express information on the registration form.
By phone...
Call us at 718-623-7220, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please have your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express number ready when you call. Please be patient; our phone lines are extremely busy. For fastest service, fax in your registration.
After you register...
You will receive a confirmation receipt in the mail. On the day of the class, show your receipt for free parking in the lot at 900 Washington Avenue and for free admission to the Garden. Report to the security desk at the 1000 Washington Avenue entrance, and you will be directed to your class.
Registrations are accepted...
on a first-come, first-served basis in the order that payment is received. No registrations will be taken without payment. All registrations are confirmed by mail. If you do not receive a confirmation within two weeks of sending payment, please call 718-623-7220.
Class cancellation...
If we must cancel a class, we will notify you by telephone as early as possible, and you will receive a full refund. If you must cancel after registering, let us know at least five business days before the course or trip takes place. We will refund your fee less $10. If you must withdraw less than five days before the class, we will refund your fee only if we are able to fill your space from a waiting list. No refunds or credit are given after a course or trip begins. Please note that special cancellation policies apply to overnight trips.
Adult class courtesies...
Please be considerate of your fellow classgoers. Turn off your cell phone while you are in class, and please do not bring children or babies to adult classes unless they are registered and the class is one of our "family" classes.
