Self-Guided Visits for School Groups
Teachers are required to preregister to bring their classes to the Garden for self-directed explorations of the Garden grounds and the Steinhardt Conservatory during BBG's hours of operation. Admission for school groups is free. Preregistered classes will receive an admission pass for entry to the Garden grounds and Steinhardt Conservatory, travel directions, and school group guidelines.

Registration for Self-guided Visits
Registration is required at least two weeks before the date of your visit.

Fill out our online form at and print your confirmation/admission pass immediately.*
Mail or fax:
If you do not have online access, fill out the self-guided registration form and fax it to 718-623-7339 or mail it to Registration Office, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, 1000 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225-1099. You will receive your admission pass in 2–3 weeks.*
Registration for self-guided visits will not be taken by phone.
* Make sure to bring your admission pass with you to the Garden.
