360 Degrees of BBG

Tropical Pavilion

This is the largest of the pavilions in the Steinhardt Conservatory -- 6,000 square feet under glass -- soaring to a height of 65 feet to accommodate the tallest trees. It re-creates a lush tropical rainforest with waterfall and streams. The main tropical regions of the world are represented here: the Amazon Basin, African rainforest and tropical eastern Asia.
