Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis'

True to its name, 'Autumnalis' begins blooming around October, continues sporadically into December, and finishes in the spring with a last burst coinciding with new foliage. Pale-pinkish flowers are single to double and can be quite striking during winter thaws. Also recommended by the Garden Club of America in Plants That Merit Attention.

Location: Cherry Cultivars Area, front of Administration Building (facing street)
