Prunus serrulata 'Taki-Nioi'
The name for this small cherry, "fragrant cloud" or "fragrance of a waterfall," addresses its main feature—its scent—although it is more honeylike than anything else. Copious single white blossoms are small but dramatically highlighted by reddish-bronze foliage.
