Tree Peony Collection
The peony collection was generously donated by the people of the town of Yatsuka, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, after the events of September 11, 2001, and features impressively large, colorful flowers in May.

This outdoor amphitheater honors the original benefactor of the Garden, the reformer and philanthropist Alfred Tredway White.

Dazzling in early spring when the fragrant blossoms of 72 magnolias are at their peak, this extraordinary collection blooms into early summer and includes BBG's own yellow-flowered hybrid, Magnolia 'Elizabeth'.
