Carol E. Hamilton
Carol E. Hamilton began her career as a botanical artist and illustrator in 1987. Her award-winning work is represented in collections of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Florilegium; Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation, in Pittsburgh; Greenwich Library, Connecticut; Acordia Companies, and a number of private collections. It has been exhibited at the United States Botanical Garden, Washington, D.C.; Denver Botanic Gardens; New York Botanical Garden; Missouri Botanical Garden, St. Louis; Horticultural Society of New York; Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania; and Brooklyn Botanic Garden. A botanical illustration instructor for the New York Botanical Garden, Hamilton is former president of the American Society of Botanical Artists and former president of the Greater New York Chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
