Bring a little Broadway indoors with Syngonium podophyllum 'Neon', a cultivar forming bright coral arrow-shaped leaves that mature to a charming peachy pink. Native to tropical climates in Central and South America, syngoniums are evergreen climbers in the wild, but they adapt extremely well to houseplant life and will fit 3- to 6-inch pots and baskets. Use a lightweight, coir-based soil and keep it well drained. Syngoniums like shady conditions, so place 'Neon' in a low-light area in your home and watch it light up its surroundings.
