How to ID Your Holiday Tree

Most people can tell the difference between an iPad and a Kindle when doing their holiday shopping, but how many can tell whether it's a Douglas-fir or a Norway spruce in their living room? BBG's handy Holiday Tree Key can help! Just choose the illustrations that best describe your tree, and as soon as you've identified enough characteristics, you'll learn what kind of tree you have.

Use the Holiday Tree Key.

Rebecca Bullene is a former editor at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She is the proprietor of Greenery NYC, a creative floral and garden design company that specializes in botanical works of art including terrariums, urban oasis gardens, and whimsical floral arrangements.
