Sunday, May 31–September 6, 2009
Artist's Reception: Sunday, May 31, 3:30–5 p.m.
Brooklyn Botanic Garden's summer art exhibit features the hand-tinted botanical prints of Briony Morrow-Cribbs. Originally created to illustrate Amy Stewart's new book, Wicked Plants: A Book of Botanical Atrocities, these finely executed copper-plate etchings evoke the potentially menacing—albeit often curative—aspects of plants.
