This July, New York–based artist Nancy Blum will bring her large-scale sculptures and drawings to the Steinhardt Conservatory Gallery. Using various techniques and materials such as porcelain, bronze, wood, and glass, Blum transforms delicate subjects from nature into elegant, robust forms. In her expansive pen-and-ink drawings, she interweaves an astonishingly rich array of botanical images to create complexly layered compositions.
