Gourmet Sandwich Lunch
Lunch is served buffet-style and consists of the following sandwich selections:
- Oven-roasted Virginia ham with a slice of Brie cheese and romaine lettuce on a crispy French baguette
- Smoked turkey with fresh navel orange slices with romaine lettuce on a hearty seven-grain roll
- Grilled peppers, onions, zucchini, and eggplant with sliced tomato and fresh basil leaves on a ciabatta roll
Served with:
- Homemade pasta salad tossed with fresh vegetables in basil oil
- Homemade double-fudge brownie (no nuts)
- Bottled water and assorted soft drinks
Palm House Luncheon Tour
One Entrée:
- Roasted Breast of Chicken: Served with fresh tossed romaine lettuce, assorted garden vegetables, and a honey mustard sauce
- Chunky Chicken Salad: Seasoned with a light curry sauce, tossed with melon and grapes, served on a bed of lettuce
- Chef's Tuna Salad: 4 ounces yellowfin tuna, served with lemon wedge, steamed vegetables, and romaine lettuce tossed in a basil vinaigrette
- Vegetable Lasagna: Made with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and three cheeses, served with a tossed salad
- Penne Pasta: With fresh garden vegetables tossed in a basil vinaigrette, served on a bed of greens
- Turkey Pot Pie: Flaky puff pastry over tender chunks of turkey and garden vegetables in a creamy sauce, served with a tossed salad
