Basic watercolor technique includes laying washes, using expressive brushwork, and overlapping layers of transparent paint (glazing). I will demonstrate these techniques, students will practice them and then we will work on a watercolor painting with plants as subject matter. The object is to learn how to handle watercolors and develop your own style of painting.
