Thanks for this. I was disappointed to see how inaccurate the representation of the garden is because it is evident that the video’s colors are over saturated and thus quite unrealistic.

Beautiful, lush views of the blossoms. I had no idea there were so many. Please consider another video, taken from the Overlook. That would show the cherry blossoms and the Rose Garden. Wonderful camera work!

So magical to be with the cherries. I visit them every year. Thank you for making it possible to see them this year as well.

  • Michele May 9, 2020

I woke up this morning to take an incredible stroll through the cherry blossom esplanade ... my heart has been lifted from the burdens that never cease ... thank you.

Thank you many times over for giving us the cherry blossoms! They were especially glorious this season, and we were able to feel the joy of being among them in this beautiful video. The camera followed the paths, up and down, exactly as I would have walked had I been there for the yearly visit I have not missed in years. It was thrilling to walk with you in this special way. Thank you!

Thank you for this beautiful tour. My husband and I always looked forward to visiting the cherry blossoms each year. I love how the pretty pink blossoms look against the stunning blue sky. I also love the colorful tulips that bloom around the same time at the BBG. Thanks again for bringing this lovely slice of heaven into our homes.

You have the best vids…so smooth and clear…great color, very enjoyable.

  • Saz May 8, 2020

This is absolutely stunning! I am so sad I can’t be there for the cherry blossoms this year, it is one my fave ways to kick off spring with friends. Thank you for this. See you soon!!

  • Lois Ross May 6, 2020

Thank you for this video.  I always enjoy the cherry blossoms at this time of year and am saddened that the gardens are closed. But now I look forward to next year to enjoy this spectacular sight.

  • Marilyn May 5, 2020

That was astounding especially because it is very rare indeed to have the Gardens all to yourself. I have to mourn, however, the new construction that eliminated those benches and bushes along the walkway where one could sit and gaze out into the blossoms, etc. But thanks so much for reminding us of the beauty we would have missed otherwise!

The videos of the Japanese Garden and Cherry Blossoms were Uplifting and Inspiring. Just what I needed as my spirit was getting a bit low. I will watch again and again… Thank You!

My husband and I visited the BBG last year to see the cherry blossoms ... so majestic!!!

  • Marie May 5, 2020

A thousand thank you’s for posting this video. As a Brooklyn native,  BBG has always been my backyard. How I miss seeing the cherry blossoms this year! Stay safe and well!

We were supposed to come to New York (from France) with my wife and we planned to visit the garden. This virtual tour gives us, all the more, the need to come as soon as it is possible again! Thank you!

  • Kathy Matson May 3, 2020

This was such a wonderful stroll! The pink was so lush and rich. I loved the way the stroller ambled through the esplanade. Very peaceful and quiet! Thank you!

  • Eric R Towse May 3, 2020

So enjoyable! We put our own music to the video and it resulted in a multi-sensory blessing.

  • Ann Isaacs May 3, 2020

Thank you for posting this. Hope the Gardens open up soon? In the meantime how about more videos from other parts of the Garden? Be well.

  • Deborah May 3, 2020

Magnificent event. It rivals seeing the cherry blossom celebrations in Japan.

  • Beladee Noble May 2, 2020

I grew up across the street from the BBG and it was my backyard as a child. I knew every tree, sculpture, and greenhouse. My brother was married there and my father has a bench dedicated to him in Cherry Lane. I live far from NYC now and viewing your videos of the Japanese Garden and Cherry Lane in bloom are like coming home. BBG is my favorite place on our beautiful and fragile planet Earth. Thank you.

  • Carol May 2, 2020

I had planned to travel to New York from Texas to see the cherry trees bloom at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden April 16th through 20th. Plans canceled. Hopefully we can go next year! Thank you so much for this video. I can’t wait to see it in person!

  • Jake May 2, 2020

When are you opening? Greenwood is open.

  • The Duevell Family May 1, 2020

Thanks for the spectacular virtual treat. What a lovely gift of Spring.

  • William May 1, 2020

    Yes.

  • Naomi Kassabian May 1, 2020

I so enjoyed the video of the Japanese Garden in bloom! Would it be possible to do a similar one from the new Overlook? Thanks.
