Block by Block re-creates the stoops and streetscapes of 2025 Greenest Block in Brooklyn winners and showcases many of the contest’s greening stars right here on Brooklyn Botanic Garden grounds.
Co‑created with contest participants, the installations in this exhibition reflect the unique character of each block, showcasing lush and colorful plantings alongside personal touches like hand-painted signs and repurposed containers.
Block by Block invites you to find inspiration from these green-thumbed Brooklynites and imagine how you too can create a greener block in community with your neighbors.
