In celebration of 100 years of bonsai at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, chef Carinna Acevedo presents a thoughtfully crafted prix fixe menu inspired by the art of bonsai and the spirit of Japanese izakaya culture. Drawing from Brooklyn’s rich multicultural landscape and seasonal farmers’ market ingredients, dishes reflect the core themes of harmony with nature and the beauty of time and patience. Dinner guests are also invited to explore the adjacent C.V. Starr Bonsai Museum.

Sake Pairings by Brooklyn Kura
Yellow Magnolia Cafe is proud to partner with Brooklyn Kura, New York’s first sake brewery, to offer a curated sake pairing. Each pour has been selected to complement the flavors of the menu and honor the spirit of craftsmanship shared by both bonsai and sake.

The three-course menu is offered at $88; optional sake pairing $28 (exclusive of tax and gratuity). BBG members receive a 10% discount.
