Families & Kids

Discovery Garden

Drop-in to the Discovery Garden to learn about native plants and insects with entomologist Anusha. Touch and feel real plants and insect specimens, play insect trivia, and learn about Anusha’s quest to protect insects and how you can help!

Anusha is in third-grade and spends much of her free time learning and teaching others about insects. Her fascination with insects grew after learning about them in school. Anusha goes to different places to save and teach others about insects because she feels they are misunderstood, but are very important to the environment. No matter how different, they are fascinating to her!

Visit Anusha’s website for more information.
