Picnic Night

Celebrate Pride at BBG! Stop by Plant Kween’s Queer Garden of Joy to create a collective reflection wall, and enjoy bite-sized snack samples presented by Queer Soup Night, live story readings and activities with Drag Artists for Expression NYC, a rainbow seed mosaics activity with our Discovery Garden team, and a dance party with DJ Shomi Noise. Be sure to BYO picnic and blanket!

The Eastern Parkway entrance and Osborne Garden are currently closed. Please enter at 990 Washington Avenue or 455 Flatbush Avenue.

    Queer Soup Night

    Try savory, soup-inspired treats presented by food stylist Tiffany Schleigh and the QSN NYC Team (first-come, first-served).

    Crafting with the Discovery Garden Team

    Design, create, and take home your own mosaic made with clay, beans, and seeds!

    Plant Kween’s Queer Garden of Joy

    Join Plant Kween for a moment of reflection as we celebrate queer joy.

Wednesday evenings from May 27 through September 2 are for members only! Savor the Garden during the twilight hours on these special nights when the Garden grounds, shop, and Canteen stay open exclusively for members. Redeem a Guest Pass to bring a friend or purchase $10 guest tickets (limit 4 per person, exclusively for Members’ Evenings).
