MindTravel: SilentWalk and listening experience

Evenings | Performances

Tuesday, July 30, 2019 | 6–6:45 p.m. & 7:15–8 p.m.
Pick up headsets on Cherry Esplanade.

Renew your sense of wonder as MindTravel brings an all-new “silent” piano experience to Brooklyn Botanical Garden. The journey begins with a short SilentWalk through the Garden as music plays through provided headphones. As the walk enters the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden, Murray Hidary, composer, pianist, and creator of MindTravel, crafts a beautiful, real-time composition as the evening sun illuminates the garden.

Free with Garden admission. No reservations required; walks are first come, first served. To participate, pick up headsets on Cherry Esplanade beginning 30 minutes before each silent walk (5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. respectively).
