Tropical Pavilion gardener Katie Levin Murphy assembled plant material collected and preserved by BBG gardeners to create Together, a suspended installation that tells the unique story of what bloomed at Brooklyn Botanic Garden over the past growing season.

“The intention was to work with my fellow gardeners to extend the season’s beauty into the colder months,” says Murphy. “In these darker days of winter, it is a joy to showcase the delight, colors, and textures of those plants for our visitors.”
