Celebrate the opening of the Trees of Little Caribbean exhibit in the Steinhardt Conservatory! As you explore the 25 trees highlighted here, learn about the stores, markets, restaurants, and recipes that connect these plants to Caribbean food, culture, and traditions in Brooklyn’s Little Caribbean.
Local chef Isra Gordon of MintPorch Café will lead a tasting of foods from the Caribbean. We’ll also be potting up plants to take home!
This free drop-in program is part of our February Break Discovery Days programming for families with children of all ages. Garden admission is pay-what-you-wish on Winter Weekdays through February 28.
