Summer Fauna Walk: Bats

Saturday, July 13, 2013 | 8 p.m.–9:30 p.m.

View south in NFG

Bats are a vital component of a healthy ecosystem, but they often escape casual notice. Join naturalist Brad Klein for a twilight walk to look and listen for the bats that spend the summer months in and around BBG. We will carry electronic bat detectors that render their ultrasonic sonar audible as we learn about the natural history of these fascinating and beneficial animals.
