Lightscape - Remember The Light Inside You

Remember The Light Inside You

Poetry by Jacqueline Woodson
Design by Shakiem Reed
Five locations throughout the Garden

Projected on paths, structures, and hillocks around the Garden, Woodson’s narrative asks participants to engage their senses completely in the wonders of nature during the darkest time of the year. This is a new, site-specific work by celebrated author, poet, and Brooklyn resident Jacqueline Woodson, a winner of an NAACP Image Award and a Hans Christian Andersen Award.
