Catherine Watters

Born and raised in Paris, Catherine is an instructor at the Filoli Botanical Art Certificate Program in Woodside, CA. Her watercolors on paper and vellum are included in many private collections, including the Isaac M. Sutton Collection, and several permanent collections - the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Florilegium, the Filoli Florilegium, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and the Museum of Natural History in Paris. She shows her paintings in several exhibitions each year, most recently at The Shirley Sherwood Gallery at The Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Filoli, the Horticultural Society of New York, and Strybing Arboretum in San Francisco. Catherine has illustrated five books, three published in the U.S. and two in France. Her work was recently featured in Horticulture magazine, Victoria magazine and Curtis's Botanical Magazine. She currently serves on the ASBA Board of Directors.
