Lillian and Amy Goldman Atrium 11 a.m.–Noon Explore Brooklyn Botanic Garden and observe the birds, mammals, and insects that remain active in winter.
Meet on Magnolia Plaza by the steps. Noon–1 p.m. Join licensed psychotherapist Lynne Spevack for this narrated walk designed to relieve the winter doldrums.
Meet on Magnolia Plaza by the steps. 1–2 p.m. Join a trained Garden Guide on a tour of the exotic flora of tropical, desert, and Mediterranean climates without leaving Brooklyn. Meet at Steinhardt Conservatory entrance. 2–3 p.m. Sarah Schumann, owner of Prospect Heights’ Shambhala Yoga & Dance Center, will lead this all-levels yoga class that emphasizes warming and opening the body through yoga postures, breathing exercises, and guided meditation. Bring your own yoga mat. Space is limited; sign up in the Visitor Center starting at 11 a.m. Treat yourself to à la carte offerings and weekend brunch specials in the Garden's cozy indoor café.
