    Family Discovery Stations and Story Time

    Drop in for fun, hands-on family programs for kids of all ages that explore different winter themes each month.

    Winter Nature Walk with Bradley Klein

    Explore Brooklyn Botanic Garden and observe the birds, mammals, and insects that remain active in winter.

    Chase Away the Winter Blues Outdoor Tour

    Join licensed psychotherapist Lynne Spevack for this narrated walk designed to relieve the winter doldrums.

    Conservatory Seasonal Highlights Tour

    Join a trained Garden Guide on a tour of the exotic flora of tropical, desert, and Mediterranean climates without leaving Brooklyn.
    Meet at Steinhardt Conservatory entrance.

    2–3 p.m.

    Winter Yoga

    Sarah Schumann, owner of Prospect Heights’ Shambhala Yoga & Dance Center, will lead this all-levels yoga class that emphasizes warming and opening the body through yoga postures, breathing exercises, and guided meditation.
    Bring your own yoga mat. Space is limited; sign up in the Visitor Center starting at 11 a.m.
