Members of the Garden Circle are invited to join us in a guided session of forest bathing at BBG.
The Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, is the process of deeply experiencing nature by taking it in slowly and thoughtfully through all the senses. The practice’s effects on the body and mind have been studied since it was developed in the early 1980s and it has been shown to help improve immunity and boost metabolism, among other positive effects. A typical session involves walking very slowly and deliberately through the forest, expanding your gaze to admire more of the beauty of nature than you previously noticed.
This invitation is for two and is nontransferable. Contact [email protected] with any questions. Enter the email address for your Garden Circle membership on the next page to register.RSVP for 9 a.m. RSVP for 9:30 a.m. RSVP for 9:45 a.m.
